Cross Cultural Experience

Published by mrscrumley at 2:41 pm under conversations & observations

I was wondering, if I were still a student at Covenant and needed to fulfill my Cross Cultural credit, would taking time off to be a contestant on The Amazing Race count?

If the answer is yes, and Colin was a student that I got to grade, he would so be failing the course. And Christie? Just break up with him now. Quit the race and the relationship. He just isn’t worth it.

I missed Colin’s near-jail experience due to an untimely phone call last night (argh!). The guy seems like a ticking time bomb… He’s just gonna explode one of these days.

How about that Chip and Kim? I’m rooting for them all the way now. That is, until they do something thoughtless or idiotic like most of the other teams. : )

Yes, we heart Chip & Kim. And the bowling Moms. But I have this sinking feeling that Colin & Christie are going to go all the way. That makes me sad.

Oh, how I despise Colin. He makes me seethe with anger, and I’m SO a pacifist. I’m all about Chip and Kim, too. Karma, karma, karma. Colin will get his, and I’m hoping it comes in the form of a very sick-and-tired, irate, Lorena Bobbitt-minded girlfriend.

    peace be with you,

Well Mike, you should take a gander one Tuesday evening (tonight at 9) just to check it out. You might want to gag at how awful some of the teams are, but there is interaction with the locals in the various countries. And on the website there are even some extras with the teams commenting more on their experience in the different countries.
