I need my superpowers
Fuller has a cold. And since he is so little (is 12 pounds still little?) he can’t take anything. So we are using a humidifier and suctioning his little nose every once in a while. He doesn’t like me sticking the bulb syringe up his nose, but then again, who would?
Baby’s first cold isn’t too bad though. He is still sleeping well and eating well, so I consider myself still sane. The doctor did a blood test to make sure it wasn’t something like RSV and all the bloodwork was fine.
The only thing that is actually bothering me right now is sticking around the house. I have some things to do and I really can’t accomplish them when baby is sick. I guess this might be one of those “Mom Superpowers” that I need to figure out- how to do it all, even when baby is sick. I’ll let you know when I figure that one out.

We’ve got a cold going on at our house, too. It’s absolutely no fun to wait to hear your baby’s next breath after she has a coughing fit. Have you tried saline drops in Fuller’s nose? He may be too congested for them to work… When Livia’s a little stuffy (snorty after a nap) the drops work like a charm and allow her to suck a bottle comfortably. My 2 cents…
Have you considered cloning? I hear it’s all the rage amongst sheep.
Just a thought….
