How to cook a turkey on an open fire

Published by mrscrumley at 12:38 pm under if I'm asking, it's not unsolicited

I have removed the Camping with Baby poll and the results were as follows:

Would you take a 14 month old camping?
Of course!
34 (80%)
What, are you nuts?
8 (19%)
Total votes: 42

(I have to tell you that most of the ?No? votes were from my mother-in-law.)

It looks like we are heading to the camping grounds for Thanksgiving. Once my mother told me that they took me camping when I was younger than Fuller will be, I knew all arguments I had against it were out the window.

We really appreciated your comments on the subject? it was helpful for people to remind me that Fuller would probably be walking by then and for my little sister to remind me that there would be at least seven adults to watch out for the little man too. So, it looks like our Thanksgiving Turkey will be carved by the open fire this year. Woo-hoo!

Now, I just need to start recalling some of the lyrics of my favorite camp songs?.

How quick I was to remark! I’m not your mother in law. Sorry, Linda, but as a great grandmother of this precious child I feel he should have the fun of camping amongst his elders.
