Diaper Duty
This morning Fuller woke at 5 am, with an urgent need for a bottle and then an even more urgent need for a diaper change. This simple diaper change, however, turned into a change of clothes for both Fuller and me. That is how nasty it was, leaking everywhere, even onto the rug that he had been playing on earlier.
As I realized the seriousness of the simple diaper change, I hastily moved to get it off of him and me, putting him in a clean diaper (Huggies, size 4) and asked Austina to redress him so I could clean myself. I yanked the changing pad cover off the changing table, grabbed his soiled clothes, the lap pad, my shirt, and bundled it all up to throw in the washer.
Later that morning, Austina took the load out out of the washer to place it in the dryer. She pulled out the changing pad cover, my shirt, and then pulled out this white thing and held it up, asking why I washed the diaper.
They may be disposable, but they hold up well in the wash too. Don?t worry, I didn?t try to reuse it.

Did you take pictures of the now washed disposable diaper????
Oh, man! I guess Huggies is the right brand. We use luvs and when one got put in the dryer by accident the result was it bursting and releasing all of the little absorbable gel capsules contained within. Horrible.
Sorry, no pictures of the washed diaper. And Sember, I was afraid the same thing would happen just in the washer. Fortunately it didn’t make it to the dryer. Just straight into the trash.
OOK, that’s better than having to wash it off the walls and bed and all over him. I remember nasty.
