We often got a chuckle out of Jimmy Fallon and his holiday parodies of certain pop songs. And now, we offer this chuckle to you!

Happy Halloween!

This is the first year that we are going to stay at home, throw open our doors (and gate) and pass out candy to the little (and not so little) trick-or-treaters. I’m kind of excited about it, which also makes me feel kind of silly. We have been in this house for six years and this is the first time we are going to pass out candy.

I remember trick-or-treating as a kid, getting as much candy as my little pillowcase would hold, wearing a costume that was fashioned out of only things we could find around our house (including all my mother’s makeup). My most memorable costume was the gypsy costume where I wore two of my mother’s skirts and knoted the top one so you could see the other one beneath, and loading on all her long, long necklaces and big, bulky bracelets so I was all glittery. I think that is the same year I almost took out S-G’s eye with the eye liner. I forget what she was suppossed to be, but as oldest sister I was head makeup artist… fear my eyeliner!

Anyway, we already dressed Fuller up for this year, so now we can just work on making plans for next year. I’m thinking circus clown… I’m sure Damon has something better in mind.

It was actually mascara. I was a hobo and you were making a black eye and so you scratched me all around my eye with a mascara a wand. I remember it very vividly thank you very much. Now anytime someone comes near me with eye makeup I flinch. Oh the memories.
