Canceled!
Remember when I said the Charlotte-Douglass airport was a mess? Well that mess has canceled our flight. I am waiting with Fuller, who has blessed us by being only minimally fussy, while Damon is in line to figure out what is what.
The weather outside is frightful, the airport is less than delightful.
Fuller is crying out… I am trying not to pout.

what a bummer!
Hey, I was stuck in the O’Hare airport once, and the Chicago PD set out cots and guarded them. Are you stuck overnight? Do they have cots?
I’m sorry about your delay.
So far we aren’t stuck overnight. We are on standby for 3 different flights to Chatt. We are definitely on the 9 pm flight to Chatt. The fog is our nemesis! Fuller is watching Baby Noah and talking to whomever will listen. I’m tired.
Hopefully you won’t be stuck overnight. That happened to me in Charlotte one time because of the weather. Stayed at the W Hotel nearby. The airline paid for the room. However, that was pre-9/11. They don’t do it anymore because of circumstances outside of their control (i.e., weather, war, act of God, etc.). I hope you found a few of those rockers to relax in.
Blast this winterness of weather…. Attached herein is a sufficient amount of California weather to get you on that plane and out of the danged airport!
~C~
Hopefully you guys are now on one of the stand by flights. Good luck I will pray for you sanity if you are stuck in the airport with a one year old till 9.
Still stuck in Charlotte. Fuller’s asleep. We have outlasted many others trying to get to Chatt. and have staked out the Primo seats next to a column with a power outlet.
-Scott, rockers have been full all day, but good memory.
This whole thing started ’cause there was fog here for like 2 hours. Since our plane couldn’t land, they sent it on to the next destination (after Chatt.) We tried to get the next flight to Chatt. (~1:30) but it, and the next 2 flights were full. Funny thing is, if we had gotten here a little later, our reservations would have been on a later flight, which would have ironically turned out to get us home sooner.
Oh well, “A guy can’t sell his blood cause he’s got hepatitis, but he can’t afford hepatitis medicine unless he sells his blood.”
Oh yeah, the flight is actually at 9:40 instead of 9:00. At this point, we’re actually considering waiting until tomorrow if thy offer us free tickets. That way, Alli could go to SG’s graduation in May, and I could go to Orlando to watch Auburn play on New Year’s (CapitalOne Bowl).
I fed your dogs - just wanted you to not worry.
home safe. going to bed. US Air Sucks.
