Just before the deadline

Published by under straight to video

PayPerPost (http://payperpost.com) had this opportunity up on its board ever since I became a member. Today is the last day to put up a video testimonial, so here is mine.

Enjoy!

Bed rail?

We moved Fuller to a toddler bed last night. The crib is going away this weekend.

My question is this:
Do we need a bed rail? He didn’t fall off the bed last night and never did the first time we experimented with the “big boy bed” concept. What do you think?

PPP puzzle, 1

Payperpost, the company that helps me get paid for blogging has some sort of big announcement next week.

As clues to their announcement, they have posted some images to help us figure out what the payperpost big news is.

If I analyze it correctly, this image (the first puzzle piece) contains a name, a phone number, and the words payperpost, inc.

I say it was the professor in the ballroom with the candlestick.

Saturday

Published by under a day in the life

Fuller is going in and out of the house as he pleases. We have the doors open and he just keeps lapping the house going out one door and in the other.

I have made the master mix, done dishes, cleaned the stove top, talked on the phone with my mom, and folded laundry.

Damon is in the attic rearranging things so it is usable space and we know where things actually are.

I don’t know why, but I feel like we are nesting. So much to do, so little time to do it.

A PSA

I?ve mentioned the clubmom bloggers before, but I don?t think I ever mentioned Jennifer. A while back Jennifer opened up to the internet about her struggle with alcoholism. She wrote a series of entries describing where alcoholism took her and the journey she took to be where she is today.

I really respect Jennifer and her openness on the topic. It was scary for her and some of the aftermath of those entries really affected her family and their plans to adopt from China.

I?ve known a few recovering addicts in my short life. I recently caught up with a high school classmate who told me his story of hitting bottom and how he has been blessed by God to have the life he has now.

I know there are Alcohol Rehab or Drug Rehab centers every where and their treatment programs have changed many lives. If you know someone who is struggling with an addiction, please try to get him or her some sort of help. Treatment centers, like The Passages, help individuals uncover their problems and overcome their addictions.

Like they say on TV, the more you know?

Tilda Blitz ~ St. Elmo Park, Coke Rewards, Birthday visitors, and more!

Published by under a day in the life

There are some things worth mentioning, but not worth an entire entry on their own. Or maybe I will come back and do a full entry later, but right now, they get a bullet point. Or a tilda.

~We have a contest going on people! Don’t forget to comment on each picture and your name will be entered into the drawing for each comment (read the rules for clarification).

~Damon is still looking to gather many Coke reward points, if you have any you aren’t using, can you send them our way? crumley AT crumley.org

~Damon finished laying all the pavers to create our new patio area. Now it needs to stop raining so we can enjoy it. Oh, and some furniture that isn’t broken.

~Fuller’s birthday is next week. If you ask him, “How old is Fuller?” he replies, “Twoooooo!”

~My inlaws are coming on Sunday and we will have a mini birthday celebration. Lunch at the corn maze, presents from the Grandparents, exhaustion for the kid. It will be tons of fun.

~We ordered my camera and a 1gig memory card yesterday! (Dave or Ed, if you are reading this, they are being sent to the office. Keep your eyes peeled.) I’ll reveal my choice when it gets here.

~Our neighborhood is getting a new greenspace where an old recreation center was. A new recreation center was built somewhere else and the old one was torn down. (If you are really interested, more details are here. It was quite the neighborhood controversy.) This past week they began clearing the land to make way for the park. Damon has been going over there everyday to take pictures of the progress. I added the pictures to Flickr, so you can watch too! I still need to edit the titles and stuff, but hey, we got the pictures up.
