More on Esther & Benjamin

Published by mrscrumley at 8:34 pm under prayer requests

I haven’t been able to get to a computer until now, but just an update on my friend Esther. Due to the lack of amniotic fluid, she will have to stay in the hospital until she delivers Benjamin, hopefully in about 4 weeks. She feels fine, the baby is developing just fine, but the lack of fluid makes her high risk.

She has family coming in and around to help with Luke, but I know it is a bummer to have to be in the hospital over Christmas. So please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

I’ll be praying for Esther. Our pastor’s daughter had to go on bedrest and then into the hospital at 27 weeks. She ended up having her son at 35 weeks and he’s doing well. From what I’ve read, even though it is considered premature, most babies born at 35 weeks don’t have longterm complications from the early birth. I’ve been very lucky in that I’ve never had to go on bedrest in 3 pregnancies and my heart goes out to anyone who has to endure that. I think I would go insane.
