As seen

Published by mrscrumley at 7:33 am under conversations & observations

Being away these past two weeks has given me a glimpse into what television could be like if we actually had expanded cable- not much different.

In the evenings, after Fuller was in bed, I would sit in Mom’s basement and flip through the 100+ channels. At the lake, I would sit in my room and flip through the 90 channels. I love the HGTV, the TLC, and Bravo, but really most of my viewing was done on channels that I have at home.

Every once in a while I would get sucked in to an infomercial. There products are pretty interesting and I always think that there is some way that I could use whatever they are pimping. From the Space Saver bags (we have some) to the Mini RC Helicopter (Fuller might get a kick out of that), it all pulls you in to tell you your life could be better with this product.

But, I don’t order when the product is on TV. Instead, I turn to the internet. The TV Products 4 Less site has all of those things, from kitchenware to fitness equipment (Yoga Booty Ballet anyone?). The process of ordering online seems faster. And you don’t have to deal with people, just the keyboard. So, when I am ready to buy my Kidz Bop CDs, I think I won’t call that 800 number right now, I’ll head over to the internet.

How true is that! You would think with such a selection of channels there would be more options…but it’s probably just more of a waste of time because you have to flip through 3 times as many channels. We realized that too when they accidently gave us the bigger package of cable rather than basic…I do miss TLC and HGTV though…but I probably wasted way too much time on those channels too. :o)

Glad you found our blog. It’s fun to catch up on the Crumley household too. I can’t believe how grown up Fuller is. What a cutie pie!
