This morning I accompanied Austina, Fuller, Allison, and her kids to the Creative Discovery Museum. Then after they all got situated, I left them to their fun so I could have some alone time myself.

I got a pedicure, which is what I have decided to do at least once a month for a little pampering. Since we are going to the Lake tomorrow, I figured I should have pretty toes for walking around barefoot.

When I got home Damon remarked that he found uneaten edamame in the microwave and two toasted waffles in the toaster, now cold. I didn’t tell him the edamame was from yesterday. I remarked that I have had a fuzzy brain and maybe I should get it checked. He replied that I should have it checked for needing a vacation!

Time to go get the Samsonite luggage out of the attic and start packing. We leave bright and early tomorrow, and apparently it isn’t soon enough.
