Moving on

Published by at 9:28 pm under a day in the life

We have been trying to get back into the swing of things, even though I am unable to clearly breathe through my nose and speaking to Damon requires we SPEAK UP so he can ask us to repeat what we just said (here’s hoping his hearing loss is cleared up soon).

I have decided we have to move on from the stagnant lifestyle of illness and vacation recovery. Damon going back to work and me getting two loads of laundry done is a start. Other ways I plan on getting back to normal:

1. Finishing the laundry.
2. Cleaning the dining room so we can eat in there.
3. Actually making dinner so we can eat in the dining room.

For me, vacation is over and I’m just willing myself well enough to keep up with it all. Over two weeks of being sick have really made it depressing inside the house and we need to move on. The short list is a pretty powerful baby step to resuming a non-ill lifestyle. Let’s see how well our Monday treats us.

I feel your pain. I’ve been without my hearing aid in my left ear for two weeks now. I thought it was just because of an ear infection, but I think there may be something wrong with the aid itself. I need to take it in this week and that means another week or so before it gets fixed. UGH!
