Spring forward
I was a bit shocked to hear Daylight Savings Time starts this weekend. On Saturday night/ early Sunday morning we spring forward and find ourselves with an hour lost.
It might do me some good since I keep waking up at 5:30 these days. I force myself to stay in bed until 7, dozing for five or ten minutes at a time. One morning I woke up, went to the bathroom and laid on the couch thinking I would be able to hear Fuller when he started singing around 7 a.m. The next thing I knew it was 8 a.m. and Fuller was still asleep. We don’t have a set routine in this house, so I didn’t really mind. (My neck did, since I slept on the couch funny.)
It will be a bit of an adjustment for us to miss the hour, but somehow I think the excitement of our upcoming trip to Atlanta will force us to adjust rather quickly. And it is usually the falling back an hour in October (this year it is November) we have come to expect really screws with out sleep schedule.
So here is my official blog reminder: tomorrow night set your clocks forward an hour, or you might miss church!
