Georgia dome damaged in storm with us in it
We are in the georgia dome and we have severe weather. VERY SCAREY. part of the dome side has ripped off. we are safe and staying in the dome for now.

I’m watching The Weather Channel at Grandma’s and saw photos of damage in Atlanta and specifically the Georgia Dome. I wondered if you were affected. Glad I thought to check here and now I know you’re okay. Hope you get back to your hotel and get a good night’s sleep.
I bet while you were sitting there thinking severe weather; a tornado wasn’t crossing your mind. I hope you guys are safe.
@Aunt Lois, I am happy I was able to at least update the blog via Utterz since I couldn’t get a phone call out at all. My FIL was able to call though, so I think Alltell has more priority on the cell tower than Verizon does.
@ Sabrina- you are correct! I never thought it was a tornado until other people were talking about it. There were some folks in front of us who said “it’s a fire!” and took off. We are thankful we stayed put.
So thankful to God, for your safety. Joe and I were very concerned about all of you.
