Highlight Number 1: MARTA
I have a friend who lives in Atlanta and everytime I twittered about MARTA he would respond with a comment about how MARTA is not smarta. It made me giggle, but really, for our family, it was smarter.
Damon worked really hard to find a hotel on the East/ West line of MARTA. Not only would a hotel farther away from downtown be cheaper, but being on the East/ West line would mean we got on the MARTA and got off right at the Georgia Dome. Last year we had to change at Five Points and it wasn’t always easy (especially when we used the stroller). East/ West was a lot easier.
One of the fun things about riding MARTA was seeing how excited Fuller was to ride the train. He couldn’t wait to ride the train every day. He would sit on Albert’s lap (Fuller insisted on that) and repeat all the names of each stop. While we were excited to be there for the basketball, I know for Fuller he was thrilled to get to ride the train.
