This afternoon Fuller and Luke enjoyed playing with hardboiled eggs and colored vinegar/ water. As I promised Fuller last night, he got to dye eggs today. And he was so happy to do it.

Having Luke (and Esther and Ben) come over to do it at the same time was excellent because they could share and when they got bored with eggs, play with each other. I was surprised at at well Fuller handled the eggs, and really got into experimenting with color. Oh wait, that was me.

After the kids got bored Esther and I started playing with the dye and seeing what would happen when we put already dyed eggs in different colors. And there were two eggs we ate and then dyed the shells, just because we could. Adults can do anything.

Fuller is still talking about coloring the eggs, so I might try this parent hack just for some fun. Who says we can only dye eggs at Easter?
