Kids
Today was our third day of rainy mess, and we decided Fuller had been cooped up enough. So after my Weight Watchers meeting, we all packed into the car for a fun filled trip to Chick-Fil-A!
I figured letting Fuller loose on their indoor play ground would help get his sillies out (any Yo Gabba Gabba fans out there?). And I figured since it was Saturday there would be a key element crowding the play structure: other kids.
Last week I took him to Chick-Fil-A with the hope he would play for a while and get out some energy before we continued our errands. Unfortunately, there were no kids in the play area, and Fuller refused to do anything but sit on the bench and make faces at me through the glass.
Fuller’s need for “kids” has reached a comical level. A few weeks ago we were going to the park to meet up with another Mom’s group. At first he didn’t want to go, but he changed his position when I told him Kids would be there. When we walked over and he saw them, he ran forward announcing “Kids! Hi Kids! Kids!” In his mind, they were all there to play with him and they all answered to the name “Kids!”
We’ve been doing better in keeping Fuller social through play dates and Mom’s group. In a few weeks we plan on starting swim lessons (that will be an adventure) so maybe even more kids will be in his future.

LOL. Tonight when we left the McDonald’s playland Livia told the kids ( all older, none of whom actually played with her), “Sorry, guys. I have to go!”
