More sleep, please
Fuller and I have had a busy two days. We visited the museum, went to Moms Group, and then this afternoon we went swimming at Esther’s, topped off by trampoline jumping.
Tonight, at about 7:55, Fuller told me he wanted to go to sleep. And I was pleased.
The sleeping schedule gets really wonky when Fuller takes an afternoon nap. We moved to a quiet time routine, where he didn’t sleep and he went to bed nicely at 8, sleeping until about 7:30. Then last week he kept falling asleep during quiet time, sending us back to a wonky schedule. By wonky, I mean he would go to bed but the sleep fairy wouldn’t visit until 9:30 or 10.
Fuller did get quiet time today, but it was earlier and shorter.
Again, I don’t think I know any parent who doesn’t fret over their child’s sleeping routine/ habit/ quality/ length. But I am happy Fuller is happy, and I’ll be happy to see him tomorrow at 7:30. At least that part is consistent.
