A is for Airplane
Dear Fuller,
This morning you took me to the shuttle so I could go to the airport. You were very excited about me getting on an airplane, but I need to explain something.
A few years ago your Cool Aunt Stina gave you a toy airplane with the UPS logo on it. And recently we drove through Kentucky where you saw a bunch of real UPS planes. And in your mind, all planes have UPS on them.
Today I did not fly on a UPS plane to Florida. Here is what my plane looked like:
It was a good flight for Mommy. The nice people of Airtran do not charge you for your first piece of luggage and they still offer complimentary drinks and a bag of pretzels. Mommy’s flight had all male flight attendants, a first in her travel history.
I miss you, and look forward to seeing you again on Sunday.
