I took a step back from the laptop yesterday, taking a nap and even walking to the post office to mail off our LSU vs. Auburn tickets. It was fun to reconnect with Fuller and play with his “Mommy went on a trip and got me a present!” gift: an Airtran airplane/ airport playset.

Because I was feeling a bit like the walking dead, I suggested our family head to Chick-fil-a for dinner as part of a fundraiser for a new local MOPS group. A few friends of mine are heading it up and I wanted support them. It was so easy for me to give up making a home cooked meal just to help them out and not stress out about dinner making.

Now we are back in the real world- trying to organize the day, make sure I keep the family moving forward, and hoping I can make the most of the cooler weather. I’m also battling a sinus headache, so I might move back into the real world at a slower pace, but I’m getting there today, I promise.
