December 3rd :: Countdown begins!
You would think the Christmas countdown would start on December 1st, but since I took quite some time getting our countdown tool garland tubes done, we didn’t start our countdown until today.
Inside each tube is candy and the title of the Jesse Tree reading for the day. We tried to talk to Fuller about the stories, and he was excited to remember the Adam and Eve story from Sunday School. The candy was a big hit too.
We aren’t do a full Jesse Tree with coordinating ornaments, I just ran out of steam and our printer isn’t working right. So, this will do for now.

this is such a cute idea. we have a wooden advent calendar with drawers that i bought in holland, but i love this too. we also do a trimmed down version of the advent readings and stuff. i figure the point is to get the habit started and as the kids grow we can do the longer readings, etc.
