December 5th:: Window Ornaments

I have figured out a way to get my son crafty- play up to things he likes. And he loves, loves, loves paper punches. I have a circle one and a star squeeze punch. The circle one is a bit tough for Fuller to use on his own, but he gets it most of the time. And then today he decided to try and step on it (his idea, completely) to get his results.

Yesterday I saw these paper stained glass trees on Alpha Mom. I know Fuller’s scissor skills aren’t advanced enough to work on a tree himself, but if we stuck to what he likes (punches!) then it was easy to adapt into these small window ornaments. And it helped that the star reminded him of Captain America.

    Vieja says those stars are mighty pretty but they need tails!

    That is a really cute idea! We’re fans of paper punches as well around here.
