I think it was Fuller’s third Christmas where he discovered my sequined Santa hat. I wore it for a while when I worked at the front desk when I worked away from home. He wore it pretty much everywhere. Last year he got a different one, not sequined, and it fit his head. The other day we found the hats in our Christmas boxes and the one from last year doesn’t fit and the sequined one looks pretty sad. So, today when we were at Walgreens, getting ready to go to the museum for the Gingerbread contest, we saw a new one. It fit him, with room to grow, so we snapped it up.

Fuller gets compliments and smiles when he wears it out, and it keeps his head warm, so we kind of encourage it (obviously, we buy the hats!). And it is even sweeter when he keeps wishing everyone a “Merry Christmas!”
