I told Fuller this morning we would go to the park. I wasn’t counting on the temperature to be below 40 when I told him. So when Tebow woke up from his morning nap (which was later because he had a check up this morning), Fuller was ready to run out the door to the playground.
I tried to talk him out of it, but he was adamant we head to the playground. I made him bundle up and he still wanted to go. I bundled Tebow up (he wasn’t happy about the gloves and hat), put him on my back, bundled myself up, and we walked over there.
I wasn’t surprised that there was no one there. I had forgotten about the mud (storms on Tuesday), so that made me even more eager to get back home. But Fuller was still adamant.
So he “played” by walking around the park carefully (trying not to get in the mud) and climbed a few things. When Tebow’s shoe fell off I decided we all had enough. So with the promise of watching a Christmas show at home, we left quickly. It was warmer at home anyway.

Yes, that brings back memories… I’m a pushover too.
I remember driving the babies in the freezing weather to a local cemetery (seriously) because the cemetery had a lake where both swans and black swans lived. We would watch them in the warm van.
Enjoy these days, they pass too quickly.
