This is just a programming notice to let you know we are revamping the Daily Fuller Fix. We didn’t plan on doing this right now, but it is something we have to do.

This means there will be a delay to you being able to see pictures on that blog. But part of the revamp process means our pictures will be on Flickr, so you will be able to see them there. While we revamp, we will be uploading old DFF pictures to Flickr, which if you are a watcher of our photostream, might bug you. Or you may bask in the glow of memory lane seeing Fuller grow up all over again.

It will be over soon, I promise.

Hey there! Remember when we started a little contest so that people would actually comment on the Daily Fuller Fix pictures? Well, the time has come and we finally sat down and did our little drawing. Here’s how we did it:

I went through all the entries and listed all the names of commenters in an Excel spreadsheet. One column was for family members, one column was for non-family members. This assigned a number to each entry.

Then I surfed over to random.org and filled in the fields to generate a totally random number.

We have really enjoyed photoblogging our son’s daily life over on The Daily Fuller Fix. However, recently we have noticed that while the pictures are great, the comments are… well, missing.

Even though they are just pictures, they do tell a story about our son and we would love to know what you think. Even if you think the title is awesomely funny or if our mad photography skillz are amazing, let us know what you think!

So, we are resorting to bribes. Yes, bribes. Bribes in the form of a contest.

Here is how it will work:

The contest will run from Today, Wednesday, September 6, 2006 until Thursday, October 5, 2006 (Fuller’s birthday!).

Leave a comment and you will be entered into a drawing for a prize. (Those payperpost $s will help contribute to the prize. I’m thinking a gift card of around $25. Starbucks? iTunes? Amazon? Bi-Lo? Winner’s choice.)

Comments must be regarding the picture and posted on The Daily Fuller Fix. Spam need not enter.

You may leave one comment per picture (starting on TODAY’s picture, posted on September 6th) to qualify for the drawing that will occur on Friday, October 6, 2006. (You could leave more than one comment per day, but each qualifying comment must be on a different picture.)

The contest is open to everyone including immediate family.

UPDATE: OK, just so we are clear. You can leave one comment, per picture, starting with the one on September 6th, to equal one entry into the drawing. For example, on the 9th, if you are just now reading this, you are welcome to go back and and comment on any picture, but only the comments left on the pictures for 9/6, 9/7, 9/8, & 9/9 will go into the drawing.

Also, I have decided to spread the payperpost wealth. There will be TWO drawings. One for family members and one for non-family members. Each winner gets a $25 gift card to somewhere.
