Back in November, Fuller and I traveled to Atlanta to meet up with some of the folks from Izea. It was a great trip, and recorded for posterity as part of Izea’s video project: Rockstartup.
Today episode 43 was released and Fuller and I were not on the cutting room floor!
Here are some behind the scenes tidbits for you:
~Fuller was a snot on this trip- literally. He sneezed soooo much while we were with the guys, I was embarrassed.
~When the Blog America Tour gang drove off, Fuller and I were headed to Centennial Park so Fuller could burn off some energy before we drove back to Chattanooga. When we got there Fuller declared he had to go potty… so we got in the car and drove to Ikea! What a great potty break.
~Lunch was amazing at Ted’s Montana Grill. They had recycled paper straws. I had a salad. And Ted was eating a Buffalo Burger.
~Ted Murphy babysat for me. He watched Fuller (who was strapped in his stroller) while I moved my car. I wonder if Ted told his girlfriend about that?
I’m looking forward to future episodes, since Postiecon isn’t too long after the Blog America Tour.
(P.S. Damon said it was fun to watch, and almost on par with our CSS TV interview. At least on Rockstartup I didn’t sound like a dork. A nerd maybe, but not a dork.)

I finally got around to updating the Daily Fuller Fix. They are all pictures from our last two trips and capture Fuller in various highjinks- biking, playing the piano, goofing off, and even cooking.
There are lots more pictures that need to go to Flickr, but I’m waiting for later, when Fuller is in bed and I can just turn on the TV and go at it. For me it isn’t just about loading the pictures, but also about the titles and tags. I like to social aspect of Flickr and love it when our pictures are found by others.
Anyway, there is a picture that I posted but I think it needs explanation. However, instead of explaining it, I also have video of it. I am still learning Windows Movie Maker and decided to upload the video to Google Video.
Enjoy!

PayPerPost (http://payperpost.com) had this opportunity up on its board ever since I became a member. Today is the last day to put up a video testimonial, so here is mine.
Enjoy!

Vince Lombardi once said, “Some people try to find things in this game that don’t exist but football is only two things-blocking and tackling.”
In the future that exists in my head, Fuller is an all-American linebacker for Auburn. Since he only has about 19 more years to get there, I figured I’d help him along. So, I bought a child’s sized football and I periodically take him outside and let him tackle me (the ball-carrier). He’s sorta getting the hang of it. Well, actually, he just likes chasing his Dad and rolling around on the ground. And really, if that’s the extent of his football interests, I can’t complain.

Here’s a video that shows our (somewhat unorganized) tackling drills. Savvy viewers will notice the significance of the color shirt I’m wearing. Whenever we play tackle, I wear that shirt, ’cause I want him to learn to always tackle the guy wearing crimson.

It’s getting hotter (finally), and Fuller needed a way to beat the heat. So, we pulled out the lawn sprinkler and squeezed him into a pair of swim diapers. Hilarity ensued:

Here’s a video to prove it.

We’ve posted a video of Fuller performing the first of what we hope will be many helpful household chores.

Fuller is expanding his mind. He now thinks he can read. So, we got this sweet video of him “reading” one of his books to Alli.

In case you aren’t aware, Fuller’s full name is Buckminster Fuller Crumley. To learn more about the original Bucky, go here.
We will wait.
Ok, now one of the things that Bucky was famous for was inventing and building a geodesic dome. You are probably familiar with the concept from places like Epcot or your neighborhood playground. And if you have been following this blog and the adventures of the “If I had a Million Dollars…” series, you would remember this project, a special something for Fuller’s exersaucer. It never really worked on the saucer, but we would hang links and toys from it and it provided Fuller with minutes of entertainment.
Well, all this to say that recently, as Fuller works on his mobility, Damon pulled down Fuller’s dome to see if he would start to interact with it again. (The exersaucer was put away awhile ago.)
