I do have a resolution for this family blog of ours: show more video!
I looooooove taking pictures of the kiddos and showing them in their frozen megapixel glory, but I know various family members are big fans of seeing the kids going through their silly antics or demonstrating their mad kid skillz.
When Tebow started walking last month I tried and tried to take video of him, but every time I pulled out the nano or my phone, he would plop down and start crawling. Now that he has had lots of practice (and most of my side of the family has seen it with their own eyes), I was able to finally put something up of him walking. I noticed today he really doesn’t crawl anymore. He can stoop down, pick things up and stand back up with great ease. When he does fall, he tends to just stand back up and walk some more.
So here we have the first video of 2010: Proof Tebow walks.
I took this video a while back when Damon and Fuller were practicing football in the backyard. Damon built this ingenious sled that helps Fuller learn how to catch the ball (I’m sure he will discuss it at later date). Fuller loves it.
And yesterday I finally just used my webcam to take some video of Tebow “talking.” I realize now that it is a little long, but I like listening to him, so you should too!
Back in November, Fuller and I traveled to Atlanta to meet up with some of the folks from Izea. It was a great trip, and recorded for posterity as part of Izea’s video project: Rockstartup.
Today episode 43 was released and Fuller and I were not on the cutting room floor!
Here are some behind the scenes tidbits for you:
~Fuller was a snot on this trip- literally. He sneezed soooo much while we were with the guys, I was embarrassed.
~When the Blog America Tour gang drove off, Fuller and I were headed to Centennial Park so Fuller could burn off some energy before we drove back to Chattanooga. When we got there Fuller declared he had to go potty… so we got in the car and drove to Ikea! What a great potty break.
~Lunch was amazing at Ted’s Montana Grill. They had recycled paper straws. I had a salad. And Ted was eating a Buffalo Burger.
~Ted Murphy babysat for me. He watched Fuller (who was strapped in his stroller) while I moved my car. I wonder if Ted told his girlfriend about that?
I’m looking forward to future episodes, since Postiecon isn’t too long after the Blog America Tour.
(P.S. Damon said it was fun to watch, and almost on par with our CSS TV interview. At least on Rockstartup I didn’t sound like a dork. A nerd maybe, but not a dork.)
I finally got around to updating the Daily Fuller Fix. They are all pictures from our last two trips and capture Fuller in various highjinks- biking, playing the piano, goofing off, and even cooking.
There are lots more pictures that need to go to Flickr, but I’m waiting for later, when Fuller is in bed and I can just turn on the TV and go at it. For me it isn’t just about loading the pictures, but also about the titles and tags. I like to social aspect of Flickr and love it when our pictures are found by others.
Anyway, there is a picture that I posted but I think it needs explanation. However, instead of explaining it, I also have video of it. I am still learning Windows Movie Maker and decided to upload the video to Google Video.
